We’re going to try and start keeping up with our blog again. Looks like we got a little a busy, so it’s been a while since we’ve posted anything. And Melissa is making me jealous with how good she is about updating her blog! : )
But for right now, here’s a picture of my adorable goddaughter Ava!

So parts of our house are finally clean enough so that we can show some pictures… (more to come later as we get the rooms cleaned). We really like it here in Oxford at New Town. It is a great place to live, and we feel like we fit in better than our previous place. The best thing is, it is still in New Town, and my way to school and Alicia’s work has barely changed. We are pretty much sorted now though; I have installed a couple of ceiling fans (only 1 more to go), but I do still have a number of boxes of items to donate or freecycle.

So to those crazy kitties… The other day I came downstairs early in the morning, and I saw Kumar looking into the bathroom with a OMG look on his face. So I go in there, and the cat litter box is turned over on its side, the cat litter is spread over the floor, and all the cat food cans and basket with treats is all over the place. And there in the middle of the living room is Harold, tearing open a bag of treats… I guess he was just really hungry So yeah, Harold is definitely doing good… (don’t worry, he gets plenty of food).

So we finally got a second kitty. His name is Harold and he is about 4 years old. He was “advertised” to us by the shelter as a very shy cat that will probably hide most of the time… Well they were wrong.

He is actually a really cute cat, but can be quite crazy at times, especially at night. But we absolutely love him. Here are some early pictures, but we will upload more soon.

In other news, Alicia and I moved to the other side of New Town (so just a couple of blocks) to a new Town home, and we really like it so far. I’ll post pictures as soon as I’ve cleaned up enough…

So here is what the snow looked like just before we went to bed. It’s not the promised four inches, but it was a little over 1 1/2 inches, and we didn’t mind. Everything just looked so beautiful. Also, head over to our Picasa Gallery to see some more pictures (just click the picture below):

I can’t believe it! It actually snowed here in Virginia! For a girl from Florida, snow’s kind of an amazing thing when it’s in your own yard. This was just the start of it though, so check back for more : )
